The New Zealand dollar, called the Kiwi, is the least liquid of the major currencies, and NZD/USD doesn’t have a breakout in the Bank for International Settlements 2010 Triennial Central Bank Survey (table on page 16 of the PDF document). Presumably it’s lumped in with USD/Other, accounting for 11% of all currency turnover. However, NZD is on one side or the other (long or short) in 1.6% of all forex trading, behind the Swedish krona (2.2%) and the Hong Kong dollar (2.4%).
